Absolutely. You do not need to come with a friend or partner to join Rooted. Small-group escapes are designed to feel warm and welcoming, with shared experiences balanced by plenty of space to enjoy the weekend in your own way.

Is the price based on double occupancy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The listed price is per person and based on two travelers sharing a room. If you are traveling with someone, you may provide their name when completing your traveler form.

Question 3

What if I’m traveling alone and need a roommate?

Let us know when you complete your traveler form. We may be able to connect solo travelers who are comfortable sharing, depending on availability. Roommate matching cannot be guaranteed.

Can I request a private room?

A limited number of private rooms may be available for an additional cost. Please contact Katie Andrews Travel before reserving so we can confirm availability and pricing.

Do I need yoga experience?

Not at all. Rooted includes gentle, approachable movement designed for a range of experience levels. Participation is always optional, and modifications will be available so you can choose what feels right for you.

What meals are included?

Select meals are included throughout the weekend, including our welcome dinner and seasonal garden-inspired dining experiences. Your final itinerary will clearly identify which meals are included and where you will have time to explore the Berkshires’ cafés and restaurants independently.

Can dietary restrictions and food allergies be accommodated?

We will work closely with our hotel, restaurants, and local partners to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies whenever reasonably possible. Please provide complete details on your traveler form so we can communicate your needs in advance. Because some experiences involve shared kitchens and preparation spaces, completely allergen-free environments cannot always be guaranteed.

How physically active is the weekend?

Accepted Answer

Rooted is thoughtfully paced rather than physically demanding. The weekend may include garden paths, periods of walking or standing, gentle yoga, and getting in and out of group transportation. Most activities are optional. If you have mobility or accessibility considerations, please contact us so we can discuss the experience with you.

Is transportation to the Berkshires included?

Accepted Answer

No. Travelers are responsible for getting to and from the Berkshires. Transportation connected with select scheduled group experiences will be included where noted in the final itinerary.

Question 10

How does the monthly payment plan work?

Accepted Answer

A $300 non-refundable deposit reserves your place and is applied toward the total cost of the escape. The remaining balance may be paid in full or divided into eight monthly payments beginning October 15, 2026, with the final payment due May 15, 2027. Guests reserving after the payment plan begins will receive an adjusted schedule for the remaining balance.

What is the cancellation policy?

The $300 reservation deposit is non-refundable. Additional payments are subject to the cancellation terms provided during booking. Because our accommodations and experiences are reserved in advance, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes appropriate cancellation coverage.

What happens after I reserve?

Accepted Answer

You will immediately receive a confirmation email welcoming you to Rooted. The email will include a link to a short traveler form and information about your remaining balance. If you select monthly payments, your first invoice and payment schedule will be sent separately. Additional details about accommodations, activities, packing, and arrival will be shared as the escape approaches.
