Who can attend Rooted?

Rooted in the Berkshires is a women’s small-group escape open to guests ages 18 and older. You’re welcome to reserve with a friend or family member or join independently. Roommate requests may be submitted through the traveler information form.

Question 2

What is the difference between Standard and Flexible Stay?

Both options include the complete Rooted experience. Standard Stay includes a traditional bed in a shared guest room. Flexible Stay includes a daybed or cot within a shared guest room and is offered at a lower price. Flexible Stay spaces are limited.

Question 3

What if I’m traveling alone and need a roommate?

Let us know when you complete your traveler form. We may be able to connect solo travelers who are comfortable sharing, depending on availability. Roommate matching cannot be guaranteed.

Can I request a private room?

A limited number of private rooms may be available for an additional cost. Please contact Katie Andrews Travel before reserving so we can confirm availability and pricing.

What is included?

Accommodations, included meals, scheduled group transportation during the escape, botanical and creative experiences, yoga, workshops and materials, curated recommendations, personal hosting, and a few thoughtful surprises are included. Please refer to the complete What’s Included section for details.

What is not included?

Transportation to and from the Berkshires, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages, optional purchases and activities, personal expenses, and gratuities not specifically noted are not included. Katie Andrews Travel can assist with travel arrangements to the area.

What meals are included?

Rooted includes two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners, beginning with Friday evening’s welcome dinner and ending with Sunday’s garden picnic. A botanical welcome mocktail is also included on Friday.We’ll highlight local flavors and seasonal ingredients throughout the weekend. Please share any dietary restrictions or food allergies on your traveler information form so we can work with our partners to accommodate your needs whenever possible.Not included: Friday lunch, Sunday dinner, alcoholic beverages, and food or drinks purchased during free time or optional experiences.

Can dietary restrictions and food allergies be accommodated?

We will work closely with our hotel, restaurants, and local partners to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies whenever reasonably possible. Please provide complete details on your traveler form so we can communicate your needs in advance. Because some experiences involve shared kitchens and preparation spaces, completely allergen-free environments cannot always be guaranteed.

Do I need yoga or art experience?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Yoga will be approachable and suitable for all levels, with modifications available. The botanical watercolor and creative experiences are also designed for beginners as well as experienced guests.

Do I need to participate in every activity?

Accepted Answer

No. Rooted is intentionally designed with choice built in. Some experiences bring the group together, while others are completely optional. You’re always welcome to rest, explore, or enjoy the inn instead.

What is the cancellation policy?

The $300 reservation deposit is non-refundable. Additional payments are subject to the cancellation terms provided during booking. Because our accommodations and experiences are reserved in advance, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes appropriate cancellation coverage.

Question 12

What happens if it rains?

Rooted will continue in rain or shine. We are arranging indoor or covered alternatives where necessary, and the itinerary may be adjusted to make the most of the weekend.

Question 13

What is the alcohol, cannabis, and smoking policy?

Accepted Answer

Alcohol and cannabis are not provided as part of the escape. Guests may responsibly enjoy substances that are legal in Massachusetts while remaining respectful of the group, the inn, neighbors, and established quiet hours. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside and on the physical building, including the porch. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and following all property policies.
